  | Michael S. Stevens, Co-Founder and Managing Member Mike has 20 years of experience in land and wildlife conservation, conservation biology, and leadership and management of conservation and business organizations.
From 2002 to 2011, Mike served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Lava Lake Land & Livestock. Mike previously worked for five years with The Nature Conservancy in Idaho and New Hampshire, where he led the planning, implementation, and financing of conservation projects. Mike’s additional work experience has been with the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, Teton Science School, and the Colorado Outward Bound School.
Mike has received national recognition for his work, including, through his work with Lava Lake, the Cecil D. Andrus Leadership Award for Sustainability and Conservation from Sustainable Northwest, and national rangeland management awards from the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management. Mike has also received a Switzer Environmental Leadership Grant and a Special Recognition Award from The Wildlife Society. In 2006, Mike was named a Hero for Wildlife by Defenders of Wildlife for his work in pioneering practices that promote coexistence between predators and livestock.
Mike received a B.A. in Biology from Middlebury College and a M.S. from the Field Naturalist Program at the University of Vermont, where he received Switzer and Mellon Foundation fellowships.
Mike is fluent in Spanish, was born and lived in Spain until he was 11, and has traveled extensively in Latin America, Europe and Asia as well as throughout the United States exploring wilderness areas and studying land-use and conservation.

| Brian S. Bean, Co-Founder and Board Member Brian Bean has nearly 30 years of investment banking, institutional derivatives and asset management experience.
Brian co-founded Copper Creek Capital Group in 2008. He is a member of the Firm’s Board of Managers and serves on the Executive Committee. His previous experience includes senior executive positions at CRT Capital, Montgomery & Co. and Robertson Stephens.
Brian, along with his wife Kathleen, has become a leader in biodiversity conservation in the Intermountain West through his founding of Lava Lake Land & Livestock and the Lava Lake Institute for Science and Conservation.
Brian is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Pomona College, where he was a dual major in botany—molecular biochemistry and biophysics and in zoology. Brian was awarded his MBA by the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Miller scholar. Before business school, Brian was a captain in the United States Marine Corps, serving with the 1st Marine Division. |  |
| Cindy M. Mann, Project Manager Cindy leads farm and ranch management projects for PMG. She has over 35 years of successful experience and proven expertise in construction, farm and ranch management, and business and project management. Cindy spent 20 years as a managing officer in Engelmann Inc., a successful Sun Valley, Idaho construction firm. She and her husband own and operate their own farm in Carey, Idaho. Cindy is an accomplished competitor in the National Cutting Horse world.

|  |  | Tess O'Sullivan, Senior Ecologist/ Project Manager Tess provides expertise to PMG clients in botany, ecological monitoring, habitat restoration, wildlife management and research, mapping, comprehensive conservation planning, and grazing management. Tess has over a decade of experience in land and wildlife conservation, conservation biology, and conservation planning. Since 2002, Tess has served as the Program Manager for Lava Lake Land and Livestock’s Science and Conservation Program. She is also the Program Director for the Lava Lake Institute for Science and Conservation. Tess holds a Master of Science in Ecological Planning from the University of Vermont and a B.A. in History and Environmental Studies from Yale University.

He also provides GIS services, including map making, spatial analysis, and data management. He joined us after working for several years in the nonprofit community in central Idaho, practicing private land conservation, and advocating for conservation and greater citizen involvement in land use planning. He earned a bachelors degree in biology from Whitman College, master's degrees in animal and plant ecology from Utah State and Duke universities (including 4 years of teaching experience), and a minor in geospatial analysis.

| Christina M. Giordani, Project Coordinator Christina coordinates Pioneer Mountain Group's project activities and manages communications and social networking projects for PMG and our clients. She also conducts research and analysis related to natural resource products and marketing as well as for economic development projects. Christina's past work experience includes marketing and branding for start up companies and small business development. Christina earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation with a minor in Environmental Studies from The University of San Francisco.

| Justin F. Stevenson, Field Biologist Justin performs ecological field work for PMG. He has conducted vegetation assessments, wildlife surveys, noxious weed surveys, and land stewardship projects for Blaine County, Defenders of Wildlife, Lava Lake Land & Livestock, and the Lava Lake Institute for Science & Conservation. Born and raised on a ranch on Silver Creek, Justin has extensive farming and land management experience. Justin holds a B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Montana.
